Extremadura closes 2021 with 3,567 new positives
The autonomous community of Extremadura has notified this Friday a total of 3,567 confirmed positive cases in the last 24 hours, a figure that experiences a decrease of 310 infections compared to the previous day. The towns with the most cases are Badajoz, with 559; Mérida, with 230 positives; Cáceres, with 222 cases; Plasencia, with 120; Almendralejo, with 116, and Don Benito, with 97.
By health areas, Badajoz reported this Friday a total of 928 positives; that of Cáceres, 682; that of Mérida, 612; that of Don Benito-Villanueva, 442; that of Plasencia, 328; that of Llerena-Zafra, 324; that of Navalmoral de la Mata, 158, and that of Coria, 93, according to the data released by the Extremadura Health Service.
