Covid-19 infections rebound to 179 and a new deceased is registered | Radio Club Tenerife | Hour 25 Canary Islands

The infections by covid-19 have rebounded in the last 24 hours to 179 and there has been a new death, has informed the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands.

The contagions in Tenerife have been 97, on Gran canaria 48, on Lanzarote 20, on The Palm 9 and in Fuerteventura 5.

The deceased is a 69-year-old woman, associated with a family outbreak, who remained admitted to a hospital in Tenerife and suffered from previous pathologies.

The hospitalized patients are 277, of which 47 are in intensive care units and 230 admitted to the plant.

The incidence of accumulated cases in the last fourteen days stands at 80.52 per 100,000 inhabitants and in the last seven days at 40.12.

In the Canary Islands, 55,183 positive cases have been registered since the pandemic began, of which 763 have died, 52,420 have been discharged and 2,000 remain active.

Tenerife has 1,196 active cases, Gran Canaria with 519, Lanzarote with 234, Fuerteventura with 27, La Palma with 17, El Hierro with 5 and La Gomera with 2.

In the Canary Islands, 1,107,573 PCR tests have been carried out, of which 3,290 in the last 24 hours.
