Covid-19 in the Baltic States: Another 726 people were infected in Lithuania, but 543 people in Estonia

Another 726 people were confirmed infected with the new coronavir in Lithuania last day, but six people died from the disease caused by the virus Covid-19, the Statistics Department announced on Sunday.

A total of 563,463 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in Lithuania, including 209,572 who have also received a second dose of the vaccine.

A further 543 people were found infected with the new coronavir in Estonia last day, but ten people died from the virus-related disease Covid-19, the Health Department said on Sunday.

The proportion of positive tests last day was 8.1%.

The total number of confirmed infections in Estonia has reached 117,554, but a total of 1,092 people have died from Covid-19 in Estonia.
