COVID-19 in Peru: Minsa approves the National Universal Vaccination Register for the first phase nndc | TRENDS

The Ministry of Health approved this Monday the National Universal Vaccination Register for the first phase of immunization against the coronavirus (COVID-19). This first stage includes the vaccination of health personnel who are in the first line of care for patients with this disease.

The resolution Nº 183-2021 / Minsa It will include as an annex the National Register with the people who will receive the first doses of the vaccine developed by Sinopharm, which arrived in our country last Sunday night.

“The National Register is updated with the information provided by the data bank holders until the total number of beneficiaries corresponding to said Phase is integrated”, it is read in the document.

The General Office of Information Technologies adopts the necessary measures to guarantee that the National Register of Universal Vaccination against COVID-19 – Phase I approved in article 1 of this Ministerial Resolution, is not modified or altered, as well as to guarantee the security of the personal data it contains “, adds the rule.

At portal of the Ministry of Health figure that in the first phase of vaccination, priority will be given to health, administrative, security, cleaning personnel, among others, who are part of the first line of care against COVID-19 and who work in the Ministry of Health, EsSalud, SISOL, Health of the Armed Forces and the National Police, as well as the private sector (clinics).

They will be joined by the personnel of the Armed Forces, the National Police of Peru, Firefighters, the Red Cross, serenazgo, brigade members, health students and members of the Electoral Tables.

This Monday, February 8, the distribution of the 300,000 doses of the vaccine from the Chinese laboratory of Sinopharm will begin, which arrived in Peru on Sunday, in Lima and Callao, in order to protect personnel in critical areas that are fighting the pandemic.

The Armed Forces will be in charge of the distribution of the vaccines nationwide, for which they have arranged 33 aircraft, 15 helicopters and 18 aircraft, according to the head of the Ministry of Defense, Nuria Esparch.

It should be noted that in this first stage vaccination is nominal. In other words, each dose is named after the health personnel who will receive it. The Minister of Health, Pilar Mazzetti, has announced that President Francisco Sagasti will be the first Peruvian to receive the dose of the vaccine.
