COVID-19 in Peru: children from 5 years old will be able to enter stadiums and coliseums if they have two doses of vaccine

Starting next Sunday, May 1, children and adolescents between 5 and 17 years of age They will be able to enter the coliseums and sports stadiums only if they present their physical or virtual card that certifies having received, in Peru and/or abroad, the first and second dose of coronavirus vaccination.

This is established by a supreme decree promulgated by the Government. The rest of the population, from 18 years of age, must prove the three doses of the vaccine to be able to enter these spaces. The previous norm established that this obligation to certify two doses applied to minors from 12 years of age.

The Government’s provision of peter castle adds that the permanent use of a KN95 mask is mandatory against coronavirusor failing that, two masks, inside the stadium or coliseum where they go for an event.

The supreme decree emphasizes that residents over 18 years of age who enter public or private closed premises must present their physical or virtual card that certifies having received, in Peru and/or abroad, the three doses of vaccination against COVID-19 .

Minsa reported 167 new cases and 4 deaths from COVID-19 in the last day

The Ministry of Health reported this Sunday that, to date3,560,876 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been registered and 212,742 deaths nationwide. In the last 24 hours, 167 infected and 4 deaths were registered.

During April 23, the results of 32,145 sampled people were recorded, of which 167 were confirmed symptomatic cases that day.
