He wants the vaccination to speed up.
Christian Estrosi, the mayor of Nice (Alpes-Maritimes), announced the opening of several walk-in centers and the setting up of municipal teams who will go “to meet residents and traders to register them on the registration platform”.
A form has been put online by the City of Nice and the Metropolis to allow you easy access, if you are eligible for vaccination, to an appointment.
These teams will do the process with you, if you wish, in real time.
Future targeted operations
“To reach neighborhoods where the level of registration on our platform is lower, we are going to carry out targeted operations”, also assures the city councilor of Nice.
So, Monday April 26, the Nikaia Palace will be transformed into a vaccinodrome for the inhabitants of Les Moulins between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm.
The Tuesday April 27, it will be the turn of the sports complex of Sam Joubij, still without an appointment, this time for the inhabitants of Ariane, Liserons and Bon Voyage.
These two centers will open in parallel with the main one, at the Théâtre des Verdures, open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., without an appointment, to all people over 70 years of age or those with co-morbidities, upon presentation of a medical certificate.
As a reminder, the incidence rate fell sharply this week, but hospital tension remained very high in the department.
