Public Health France sounded the alarm on Thursday July 14 on the sharp increase in recorded hospital admissions.
Almost 20% increase
A rise in covid hospital admissions is recorded in the course of last week, i.e. nearly 20%. According to Public Health France, the continuation of this increase has been observed over the past few days.
Over the period from July 4 to 10, 8,063 new hospitalizations were listed, i.e. a “sharp rise” by 19% compared to the previous week.

The same goes for the critical care service with 761 entries, or 22% more in the space of a week. In health and medico-social establishments, the death rate also increased by 29%, with 389 deaths recorded, reports Lacroix.com.
