The latest figures published by the Pays de la Loire Regional Health Agency on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, are very encouraging in terms of Mayenne, on the eve of a further lifting of restrictions.
The incidence rate is 90.4 per 100,000 inhabitants (19.9 among those over 65), against 120.2 per 100,000 inhabitants on Friday, June 4. The positivity rate is 3.1% (1.6% among those over 65), against 3.7% on Friday.
An additional victim
For the time being, 36 people are hospitalized, the same number as the previous assessment on Friday, including 4 in intensive care. One additional death due to Covid-19 has been noted for a few days. In total, the coronavirus has claimed 273 victims in the department since the start of the epidemic.
Note that since the start of the vaccination campaign, 132,256 people have received a first dose in Mayenne and 56,661 a second.
