Covid-19 in France: 197 deaths in 24 hours, fewer and fewer positive patients in hospital

197 deaths in hospital in the past 24 hours

In 24 hours, 66,732 positive cases were identified, against 92,345 last Thursday. The average over the past week is 66,619 cases per day (-33% in one week).

In addition, Public Health France deplores 197 new deaths of positive patients in hospital in the past 24 hours. Since the start of the pandemic, 137,770 people positive for the virus have died. Daily deaths are down 15% over a week.
