The Ministry of Health of Córdoba confirmed this Monday 170 new cases of Covid-19 throughout the provincial territory, geographically distributed as follows

Of the total cases, 130 are linked to close contacts of previously confirmed cases, 39 are under investigation and one is imported. In this way, the province of Córdoba has registered a total of 170 new cases to date and an accumulated 3,675 cases.
Since the beginning of the pandemic to date, in the province of Córdoba, tests with PCR (swabs) were carried out on 144,414 people. This results in a rate of 38,403 people studied with CRP for every 1 million inhabitants. Today 2,904 studies were carried out, of which 1,158 are PCR and 1,746 serological tests.
Deaths
This Monday there were three deaths from Covid-19 in the province of Córdoba, corresponding to two men aged 82 and 66, and a woman aged 88.
The three people resided in the city of Córdoba, were hospitalized and had a history of previous pathologies. To date, in the province of Córdoba there have been a total of 71 deaths linked to Covid-19.
Until this Thursday, in the sanitary controls arranged in the 16 access routes to the province, a total of 18,573 serological tests were carried out.
Occupancy of critical beds Adult Covid
66 people are hospitalized in beds in critical units for adults Covid-19, which represents 4.97% of the total beds in the public and private sectors of the Córdoba province.

During this health strategy, a total of 2,195 studies were carried out, of which 449 correspond to sampling with swabs (PCR) from those who had close contact with positive cases or presented symptoms, and 1,746 to serological tests in the framework of population samplings in those areas and of controls to those who enter the provincial territory.
The swab samples are being processed by the Central Laboratory of the Province.
