According to the report of the Ministry of Health of this Monday, March 7, 2022, in Colombia reported 952 new cases of covid-19 in the last hours, a figure lower than that reported on Sunday, which was 1,088. This, after 24,063 tests were processed (12,211 PCR and 11,852 antigen tests).

On the other hand, the report accounts for 29 more deaths from the virus. With this update, the total number of deaths in Colombia amounts to 139,120.
The report also shows that, in total, there are 9,725 cases that remain active in Colombia.

In the last 24 hours, moreover, 1,401 recovered patients were reported. Thus, there are already 5,901,731 patients who have overcome covid-19 in the country to date.

How is the National Vaccination Plan going?
As for the progress of National Vaccination Plan, the health authority reported that, with a cutoff at 11:59 pm on March 5, 78,256,254 doses of the covid-19 vaccine have been applied in the country.
Of that figure, 35,288,254 correspond to the first dose; 27,705,460, second dose; 9,052,544, to booster doses, and 6,209,800 are from the single-dose vaccine.
