According to the report of the Ministry of Health of this Tuesday, December 28, in Colombia 4,306 new cases of covid-19 were reported in the last hours. This, after 57,812 tests were processed (21,291 of PCR and 36,521 of antigens).

To date, 29,410,095 tests have been processed in the country. Thus, Colombia reaches 5,132,277 confirmed coronavirus cases since the pandemic began, in March 2020.

On the other hand, the report accounts for 35 more deaths from the virus. With this update, the total death toll in Colombia rises to 129,833.
In the last 24 hours, in addition, 1,971 recovered patients were reported. Thus, there are already 4,963,070 patients who to date have overcome covid-19 in the country.
In total, there are 20,885 cases that remain active in Colombia.

Regarding the advance of National Vaccination Plan, the health authority reported that, with a cut-off at 11:59 pm on December 26, in the country 63,753,706 doses of the covid-19 vaccine. Of that figure, 32,878,834 correspond to the first dose; 22,612,463 to second dose; 3,000,665, booster doses, and 5,281,744 are from the single-dose vaccine.
In Colombia, 27,874,207 people already have the complete vaccination schedule.
