The establishment of a « vacci drive », one of the first in France, could intervene in the coming weeks on the site of the Saint-Jean clinic, of the Cap Santé group, to Saint-Jean-de-Védas, at the western gates of Montpellier. Thus, vaccinations against Covid-19 would increase in power, from 700 doses to 2,100 per week. This is what the leaders of this hospital announced Thursday, during the official visit of Jacques Witkowski, the prefect of Hérault.
Doctolib
After making an appointment via Doctolib, customers will be vaccinated without leaving their car, in a dedicated car park. The preliminary medical consultation, and the fifteen minutes of waiting after injection will be done on site. “This will be an additional offer for a younger and more mobile population”, observes Laurent Ramon, general manager of Cap Santé and the Saint-Jean clinic.
Well advanced project
“It’s more comfortable than waiting in a waiting room. It is a bit at home when you do not get out of the car, and there is a trivialization of the act of injection, which makes it more pleasant, ”notes Lamine Gharbi, president of the Cap Santé group. He is pleased that, “We already have the agreement of the general direction of the healthcare offer in Paris and we are therefore finalizing the preparation of the project, which we are going to submit to the regional health agency, the ARS, and at the prefecture ”. An initiative well advanced, since the final stage via the ARS and the prefecture will take place next week. The “vacci drive” at the Saint-Jean clinic in Saint-Jean-de-Védas would therefore be the first in Hérault.
