COVID-19 Healing Continues to Increase Reaching 3,983,140 People – Latest News

JAKARTA – The development of the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic as of September 18, 2021, nationally, the daily cure rate has increased to reach 7,076 people recovering per day. Today’s addition increases the cumulative number of cures to reach 3.9 million people recovered or to be precise 3,983,140 people (95.1%).

In line with that, active cases or positive patients who still need medical treatment, decreased again by 3,876 cases and the total decreased to 65,066 cases (1.6%). With the addition of positive confirmed patients (RT-PCR/TCM and rapid antigen), today there are 3,385 cases and cumulatively, or the number of positive confirmed patients recorded since the first case to date has reached 4,188,529 cases.

In addition, the number of patients who died also increased by 185 cases and the cumulative number reached 140,323 cases (3.4%). In addition, from the results of laboratory tests per day, specimens have been examined (RT-PCR/TCM and rapid test antigen) per day as many as 276,094 specimens with a total of 364,144 suspected cases.

For the development of the vaccination program, the recipients of the 1st vaccine continue to grow and today there are 1,123,031 people with a total exceeding 78 million people or 78,540,519 people. Meanwhile, those who received the second vaccination also increased to more than 44 million people or 44,716,570 people, including today’s addition of 591,855 people. And the 3rd vaccine recipients increased by 4,340 people and the cumulative number was 838,878 people. The target for vaccination is 208,265,720 people.

Furthermore, looking at the development of treatment per province, there are five provinces adding the highest daily recovered patients. Central Java province added 1,306 people and a cumulative 442,685 people, followed by Papua added 582 people and a cumulative 31,139 people, East Java added 558 people and a cumulative 360,012 people, West Java added 430 people and a cumulative 680,649 people and Aceh added 377 people and the cumulative was 30,001 people.

Then, with the addition of daily positive confirmed cases, there were 5 provinces with the highest numbers. Namely, East Java added 314 cases and cumulatively 392,973 cases, followed by Central Java adding 298 cases and cumulatively 479,083 cases, West Java adding 238 cases and cumulatively 700,481 cases, North Sumatra adding 232 cases and cumulatively 103,136 cases and DKI Jakarta adding 200 cases and the cumulative 856,006 cases.

In addition, there are 5 provinces with the highest daily death rate including Central Java adding 37 cases and a cumulative 29,708 cases, followed by East Java adding 19 cases and the highest cumulative number reaching 29,219 cases, Aceh adding 16 cases and cumulatively 1,780 cases, North Sumatra adding 14 cases and the cumulative is 2,743 cases and Bali added 9 cases and the cumulative is 3,826 cases.

In addition, the results of tests per day of laboratory networks in various regions, the cumulative number of specimens examined has reached 36,200,788 specimens. Consists of 7,774,527 positive (cumulative) specimens and 26,729,225 negative (cumulative) specimens. The daily specimen positivity rate (NAA and Antigen) is at 2.16% and the weekly specimen positivity rate (12-18 September 2021) is 2.65%. Meanwhile, invalid and inconclusive specimens (per day) amounted to 72 specimens.

For the number of people being examined per day, there are 201,138 people and the cumulative number is 24,087,841 people. Then, in the negative confirmed results, the cumulative number increased to 19,899,312 people, including today’s addition of 197,753 people. Meanwhile, the daily positivity rate (NAA and Antigen) is at 1.68% and the weekly positivity rate (12-18 September 2021) is 2.19%. In terms of distribution, the affected areas are still in 34 provinces and 510 regencies/cities.
