Last day, 2163 Covid-19 tests revealed three new cases, all of which have returned from abroad, according to data compiled by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (SPCC).
According to the information available to the SPKC, the patients have returned from Ireland, Ukraine and the USA.
So far, 230,921 examinations have been performed in Latvia, 1,326 persons have become ill, but 1,093 or 82.4% have recovered.
In total, 33 persons or 2.48% of all detected cases died with Covid-19.
Data from the National Health Service (NSS) show that there are no inpatients with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. There are currently four inpatients, all with moderate disease. A total of 199 patients were discharged from the hospital, including both those who recovered and those who died.
