On Saturday, the daily report indicates that four people are in intensive care and that a record 34 people are currently hospitalized, an increase of 6 people in 24 hours.
The pressure continues to increase on the hospital system as the number of people hospitalized has never exceeded 30 before.
119 new cases
On Saturday, 119 new people were diagnosed with COVID-19 in Estrie.
It is still in Sherbrooke that we recorded the greatest number of new cases with 66 infected Sherbrooke residents. The Haute-Yamaska local service network (RLS) follows with 22 new cases.
The moving average for Estrie over the past seven days was 105 new cases per day.
