By transmission, the regional president explained that he has already agreed with the directors of the company that lives in the Port of La Guaira, to take the appropriate sanitary measures in the case, and thus cut the contagion chain; “We are making great efforts together to deal with the problems that have arisen there,” he said.
In this case, the measures suggested by the World Health Organization (WHO) will be taken into account, which includes fencing off the area affected by the virus, in addition to searching house by house, for all relatives and acquaintances who may have been in contact with virus positive patients.
Governor Carneiro stressed that the transfers are being made to the Quarantine Enlistment Center, located in Caracas, which currently has 583 confined people and with timely comprehensive care; “This General Staff is still pending the problem of the pandemic, reminding President Nicolás Maduro to count on us, we continue to fight,” he concluded.
