Covid-19 – First African plant producing corona vaccine faces closure due to lack of interest

It was only in November that the South African pharmaceutical company Aspen received a license from the US company Johnson & Johnson to fill the corona vaccine for the whole of Africa. However, not a single order has been received since the license agreement was signed.

In Africa, the vaccination rate is stagnating in many cases. In South Africa, it is currently the highest on the continent at a good 30 percent.
