The number of cases of the British variant of the coronavirus has multiplied in France in recent days. In this context, the president ofParis Airports, Augustin de Romanet, said he was in favor of strengthening certain measures in the airports.
“A private decree of freedoms”
Questioned at the microphone ofEurope 1, the president of ADP estimated that the English variant and its potential contagiousness justifies the return of a “fortnight” for people returning from England. “I recommend a custodial order,” he said.
Regarding the debates on the potential establishment of a “Vaccination passport”, the CEO stresses “documents” could be imposed by private companies, and that a “State can worry about discrimination between citizens on vaccines”. Augustin de Romanet also believes that “measures are needed to limit the shutdown of the economy”. When will the economic recovery of air traffic come about?
