The information available to the SPKC shows that 33 patients became infected from known sources of infection, one person became infected in Finland, and the conditions of infection were specified for 10 persons.

The epidemiological investigation is ongoing.

During the last day, three patients with Covid-19 were hospitalized, a total of 21 patients were treated in hospitals, 19 with moderate, two with severe disease.

A total of 230 patients were discharged from the hospital, according to the National Health Service.

A total of 324,717 examinations were performed in Latvia, 1,868 persons became ill and 1,307 recovered and 37 died.
