Following the high traffic in Toulouse, in particular on the banks of the Garonne, Saturday February 27, 2021, and to fight against Covid-19, the mayor of the city, Jean-Luc-Moudenc, and the Regional Prefect, Étienne Guyot, took the decision, by prefectural decree, to close public access to certain places.
We tell you which ones.
Places where people land, or where there is a lot of traffic
The places concerned are:
- the banks of the Garonne located below Place Saint-Pierre, Quai Saint-Pierre, Quai Lucien Lombard, Quai de la Daurade, Quai de Tounis and corresponding to the Henri Martin promenade,
- the Place de la Daurade,
- the Filters meadow,
- the quay of the Spanish Republican Exile.
At least until next Monday
At the moment, this measure is in force at least until Monday March 8, 2021.
Depending on the Covid-19 figures in Toulouse, it may be repealed, extended, or reinforced by other decisions.
