Covid-19: cases rise 44% in 14 days, assets mark the highest in 49 reports, bivalent has 25.4% | National

This Saturday morning the Ministry of Health (Minsal) reported the detection of 2,725 new cases of covid-19 in Chile, 1,894 of them symptomatic.

“The new confirmed cases at the national level have increased by 22.6% in the last week, while in the last 14 days they have registered an increase of 44.3%,” they detailed from the portfolio in a announcement.

Today the region with the most assets is the RM, with 3,321.

Regarding the incidence rate, Chile has 40.4 active cases per 100,000 inhabitants, although Los Ríos scored 69.1.

In addition, this day the Department of Health Statistics and Information (DEIS) added 12 deaths to the national list due to the covid-19 pandemic.
