According to the report of the Ministry of Health of this Tuesday, February 1, 2022, 14,454 new cases of covid-19 were reported in Colombia in the last hours. This, after 58,676 tests were processed (21,815 for PCR and 36,861 for antigens).

In the country, to date, 32,215,734 tests have been processed. Thus, Colombia reaches 5,901,715 confirmed cases of coronavirus since the pandemic began, in March 2020.

On the other hand, the report accounts for 251 more deaths from the virus. With this update, the total number of deaths in Colombia amounts to 134,551.
Among the fatalities there are two minors. The first is an 11-year-old girl from Medellín, whose comorbidities are being studied. The other case corresponds to a one-year-old boy who died in Puerto Asís, Putumayo, and his comorbidities are also under study.
The report also shows that, in total, there are 68,906 cases that remain active in Colombia.

In the last 24 hours, in addition, 17,086 recovered patients were reported. Thus, there are already 5,678,249 patients who have overcome covid-19 in the country to date.
Regarding the progress of the National Vaccination Plan, the health authority reported that, with a cutoff at 11:59 pm this Sunday, January 30, 71,700,174 doses of the vaccine against covid-19 have been applied in the country.

Of that figure, 34,505,216 correspond to the first dose; 25,786,981 to second dose; 5,626,752, a booster dose, and 5,781,225 are for the single-dose vaccine.
In Colombia, 31,568,206 people already have the complete vaccination schedule.
