After having been relatively stable under 100 for nearly three weeks, the number of cases recorded in one day has exceeded this threshold in each of the last seven days.

The last equally important daily report dates back exactly one month, that is, on June 19.

This increase is part of a screening blitz in the Montreal region. About 15,000 tests were performed daily Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

The column of deaths borders on stagnation, while a single death was reported yesterday. The hospitalization and intensive care patient columns are relatively stable with an increase of three each, bringing them to 251 and 18 cases, respectively.

The number of cases in Quebec now stands at 57,466. The person who died of COVID-19 in Quebec on Sunday was the only one to have died across the country for this day.
