Under the shadow of a fourth threatening wave, the Minister of Health, Abderrahmane Benbouzid, during the closing session of the work of the national seminar on the modernization of the health system, wanted to be reassuring, without forgetting to underline the dangerousness of the situation.
For Benbouzid, there is “relative stability” concerning the health situation in Algeria. The minister, however, added that “the increase in contamination” remains a source of concern. It is to highlight that Algeria, has recorded more than 400 cases, every day, for more than a week.
The presence of Tebboune to boost the sector
The minister also insisted on what the work of the national seminar on the modernization of the health system can bring to his sector. For him, this is a new starting point to breathe new life into the Algerian health sector.
President Tebboune, who was present at the closing session of the national seminar on the modernization of the health system, urged the minister to express his thanks for the support and encouragement he presents for his department. .
During his speech, the Minister of Health also added that the recommendations of the seminar will be implemented. He also noted that the President of the Republic, who is attending this work for the first time, has provided great support.
To conclude, Benabderrahmane once again called on citizens to get vaccinated, in order to limit the spread of the coronavirus.
