Another 848 people were confirmed to be infected with the new coronavir virus in Lithuania last day and 13 deaths caused by Covid-19 were registered, the Statistics Department announced on Sunday.
Since the start of the pandemic, a total of 315,949 people have been diagnosed with the new coronavirus in the country.
The Covid-19 virus disease has claimed a total of 4,793 lives in Lithuania.
According to the data of the Department of Statistics, the 14-day cumulative number of infections per 100,000 population on September 18 in Lithuania has increased to 476.2.
A total of 1,721,361 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in Lithuania, including 1,596,471 people who have been vaccinated.
In Estonia, another 462 people were diagnosed with the new coronavir virus last day and one death from Covid-19 was reported, the Health Department said on Sunday.
The total number of confirmed infections in Estonia has reached 149,776.
A total of 1326 people died in Estonia from Covid-19.
139 patients with the disease are currently being treated in hospitals.
The 14-day cumulative number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population, calculated by the Estonian Department of Health, has risen to 457.5 on 18 September.
A total of 747,705 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in Estonia, including 675,619 people.
