13,476 analyzes were performed last day and the proportion of positive tests was 45.3%.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 8,327,098 analyzes have been performed in Lithuania and 980,331 cases of infection have been detected.
A total of 8,692 people have died in Lithuania with Covid-19.
There are currently 1,384 Covid-19 patients in hospitals, 61 of whom are receiving intensive care.
According to the Department of Statistics, the 14-day cumulative number of infections per 100,000 population in Lithuania has decreased to 2,203.5.
A total of 1,947,565 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in Lithuania, including 1,871,637 primary vaccination courses. 915 168 people received booster vaccinations.
A further 1,552 people were diagnosed with coronavirus infection in Estonia last day and five deaths from Covid-19 were reported, the health department said on Thursday.
4682 analyzes were performed last day, thus the proportion of positive tests was 37.4%.
