COVID-19 Secure Personal Data is a microsite developed by the National Institute of Transparency, Access to Information and Protection of Personal Data (INAI) to provide clear and precise information to the holders about the right to the protection of their personal data that, where appropriate, will be processed in public or private institutions in order to provide them with the diagnosis, care and follow-up on Coronavirus, COVID-19. As well as providing recommendations for those responsible and those in charge of the Public and Private Sector, on the adequate treatment of personal data that they must carry out in the various activities required for the care of COVID-19 cases, in order to comply with the principles, duties and obligations that the legal framework regarding the protection of personal data establishes.
The microsite will share the efforts made by the different international data protection agencies to promote measures, recommendations and attention to doubts related to the processing of personal data from COVID-19 cases.
