“COVID-19 admissions to ICUs on the rise in Jaen, as infections double in seven days”

Jaen

Increase in the number of covid admissions to ICUs in Jaén. Some of the patients who were on the floor in Jaén hospital centers have had to be admitted to intensive care units.

This is clear according to the data offered this Tuesday by the Andalusian Government Health Department, since we have gone from having only one ICU admission to registering five in a week. In addition, those admitted to the ward are considerably reduced, currently having 25 covid patients. This last week 22 Jaen residents have had to be admitted to the hospital, curiously none of them in the Intensive Care Units.

In addition, there is also an increase in infections registered in the last seven days. Almost double the numbers that were contributed last week. Specifically, 208 patients have tested positive for coronavirus. It is also regrettable that the total number of deaths for this reason already reaches 1,643, after the four deaths recently registered. Luckily, 144 patients have managed to overcome the disease.
