Covid-19 is still circulating in Polynesia and around the world. It does less damage thanks to vaccination. Health authorities are continuing their injection campaigns…
Covid-19 numbers are down but the virus is still circulating. The health department is continuing its vaccination campaign to fight against the virus which seems to be regaining ground, according to Daniel Ponia, of the covid platform… On Saturday June 11, a vaccinodrome was also installed at the Mathilde Frébault institute. The center addresses:
- children between 5 and 11 years old (pediatric form of pfizer)
- for people 18 years and older, for the 3rd or 4th dose
- people aged 60 and over
- to first-time vaccinators who have to go on a trip
About 100 people received a dose of the vaccine this morning. The Country’s covid platform strongly recommends updating its vaccination schedule.
Vaccination centers remain open daily, but not all offer pediatric vaccination. Find the different meeting points on the Department of Health website.
In addition, the group A Here ia Porinetia has requested a commission of inquiry into the management of covid. It is the only political party to have filed this request. No report on these 2 years of crisis has yet been drawn up at Fenua.
For your information, the complete vaccination schedule is always required to enter or transit the United States. On the other hand, the nasal swab is no longer necessary.
