Covid-19: 8662 cases of infection registered in Lithuania; In Estonia – 6520

More than 8,662 people were confirmed infected with the coronavir virus in Lithuania last day, and 12 deaths caused by Covid-19 were registered, the Department of Statistics announced on Tuesday.

27,931 analyzes were performed last day and the proportion of positive tests was 31%. A total of 7,606,364 analyzes were performed in Lithuania.

688,685 cases of coronavirus infection have been reported since the start of the pandemic.

The total number of confirmed infections in Estonia has reached 344,060.
