Rabat – Three hundred nineteen (319) new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) infection and seventy (70) healings have been recorded in Morocco in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health announced on Friday .
This new assessment brings to 13,288 the number of contaminations in the Kingdom since the declaration of the first case on March 2, and to 9,160 the number of people fully recovered, or a cure rate of about 70%, said the head of the Department of Epidemic Diseases in the Directorate of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health, Ms. Hind Ezzine.
The death toll reached 230 after the announcement of a death, a fatality rate of 1.7%, she added.
The ministry invites citizens to respect the rules of hygiene and health security as well as the preventive measures taken by the authorities, demonstrating responsibility and patriotism.
