Covid-19: 2552 cases of infection registered in Lithuania; In Estonia – 925

Another 2552 people were confirmed infected with the coronavirus in Lithuania last day and six deaths caused by Covid-19 were registered, the Department of Statistics announced on Monday.

The proportion of 5813 analyzes performed last day and the proportion of positive tests was 43.9%.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Lithuania, 8,283,962 analyzes have been performed and 964,128 cases of infection have been detected.

A total of 8,642 people have died in Lithuania with Covid-19.

There are currently 1,449 Covid-19 patients in hospitals, 68 of whom are receiving intensive care.

According to the Department of Statistics, the 14-day cumulative number of infections per 100,000 population in Lithuania has slightly increased to 2,202.5.

A total of 1,947,188 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in Lithuania, including 1,871,292 primary vaccination courses. 913,673 people received booster vaccinations.

Another 925 people were diagnosed with coronavirus infection in Estonia last day and six deaths from Covid-19 were reported, the Health Department said on Monday.

2530 analyzes were performed last day, thus the proportion of positive tests was 36.6%.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 3,177,134 analyzes have been performed in Estonia and 532,089 infections have been detected.

A total of 2359 people died in Estonia with Covid-19.

631 Covid-19 patients are currently being treated in hospitals, 258 of whom are severely ill.

The 14-day cumulative number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population, calculated by the Estonian Department of Health, has dropped to 2,834.36.

A total of 858,329 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in Estonia, including 841,315 people who have completed a primary vaccination course. 437,790 people received booster vaccinations.
