This Friday, May 21, the rectorate of the Dijon academy drew up, in a press release, a new assessment of the reported cases of Covid-19, between May 17 and 20, in schools. The data was cut Thursday at 1 p.m.
No school structure out of the 1,977 schools and educational establishments in the Dijon academy has had to close its doors.
1,900 saliva tests offered in the academy
On the other hand, of the 11,506 classes (1st and 2nd degree), 177 had to be closed, ie 1.54%. In detail, it is in Côte-d’Or that the closures were the most numerous. In all, 105 classes were closed in the department against 44 in Saône-et-Loire, 20 in Yonne and 8 in Nièvre.
As for the confirmed cases of Covid-19, they amount to 646 among students (cumulative over the last seven days) out of a total of 271,764 students, or 0.24%. In the personnel, out of 26,793, 54 cases were identified.
The Dijon academy has, moreover, communicated the data of the saliva tests carried out in schools from Monday 10 to Monday 17 May. 1,900 tests were proposed, 1,500 were performed and 0.4% of them were positive.
