COVID-19: 14 new infections in Arthabaska-Érable

Five new cases of COVID-19, four in Victoriaville and one in Saint-Valère, have been confirmed in the MRC d’Arthabaska in the past 24 hours. During this period, nine new cases, including five in Plessisville and three in Princeville, were diagnosed in L’Érable.

Since July 12, 1970 people from the MRC d’Arthabaska, including 1457 from Victoriaville, 84 from Warwick, 73 from Saint-Christophe-d’Arthabaska and 57 from Saint-Albert, and 510 people from the MRC de L’Érable , including 229 from Plessisville and 159 from Princeville, contracted the disease.

In total, since that date, 6,684 people in Center-du-Québec have been infected with the virus. Of these people, 6,303 have recovered.

In the greater Mauricie / Center-du-Québec region, 21 people are hospitalized, including 7 in intensive care. Since July 12, there have been 306 deaths in Mauricie-Center-du-Québec.
