Covid-19 – 138 deaths this Sunday, nearly 26,000 people hospitalized including 14,000 in hospital and 4,406 in intensive care

Hospitalizations stabilized slightly below 26,000 patients on Sunday. The Independent reveals the services in which these patients are currently placed.

This Sunday, France recorded 138 new deaths linked to Covid-19, bringing the number of victims in the country’s hospitals to 66,873, or 92,278 deaths in total. After many weeks around 300 daily deaths, France now experiences 260 deaths on average per day.

Hospitalizations are still increasing slightly, still very close to the 26,000 patient mark with 25,926 people hospitalized.

This Sunday, these hospitalizations break down as follows:
– resuscitation: 4406
– conventional hospitalization: 13,999
– follow-up or long-term care: 7205
– others: 316

926 people were admitted to hospital on Sunday.
