According to figures communicated by Public Health France, the assessment of the Covid epidemic this Friday, May 6 in Aude and Pyrénées-Orientales.
In L’hears133 patients are hospitalized because of the Covid this Friday (+7 in 24 hours). This indicator had not been so high since March 14 (134). Among these people, 2 are in intensive care (-1 in 24h). For the fourth consecutive day, no additional deaths of Covid patients are to be deplored at the hospital in the department. The balance sheet therefore remains at 579 deaths caused by the virus since the start of theepidemic.
Le incidence rate continues to decline this Friday in the department with 553.5 cases per 100,000 inhabitants against 580.4 this Thursday and 863.7 last Friday.
In the Eastern Pyrenees, 189 hospitalizations are recorded this Friday (stable figure), including 15 patients in intensive care (stable figure). 1 additional Covid patient death has been recorded at the hospital in the past 24 hours. The balance sheet is now 682 dead because of the virus in the hospital in the department since the start of the epidemic, including 15 in the last 7 days.
Le incidence rate continues to decline in Eastern Pyrenees. It stands at 490.6 cases per 100,000 inhabitants this Friday against 527.8 this Thursday and 800.6 last Friday.
