Cover of Empire Betrays Another Villain in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’

Spider-Man: No Way Home is going to be one of the most mysterious superhero movies ever released, as we’ve barely learned any concrete details about the story, cameos, or many crossovers it’s likely to feature.

The marketing campaign is slowly but surely starting to unfold and Empire Magazine started today with the unveiling of some new magazine covers. It’s understandable why SONY and MARVEL are hesitant to reveal too much in advance.

Because within 2 seconds, fans had discovered the return of a well-known villain and this is Flint Marko aka The Sandman from Thomas Haden Church from Spider-Man 3 (2007).

Villain or good guy?
As you can see from the cover of the magazine above, Sandman almost certainly seems to be making a comeback. He was already a villain who seemed to make a “blink and you miss it” appearance in the trailer.

Now the question is (should he be in it), will Flint Marko go in a different direction and become a hero? Previously, he was portrayed as a desperate man who commits robberies to save his daughter from a rare disease and was not as bad as Spidey’s other enemies.

Though his power to control and transform sand into it could be catastrophic. When confronted with the reality of a threatening multiverse, this time he can get enough motivation to fight for a world where his daughter is safe from everything.
