Coventry City will arrive at Wembley today with one of the FA Cup’s top scorers in its ranks. Ellis Simms, formerly of Everton, has managed to stand out in the competition with a total of five goals so far.
The English striker already demonstrated last year, in the Championship and with Sunderland, that he is a player with enough resources to nourish his team.
His arrival at the club was not easy, since he had the mission of making Viktor Gyökeres ‘forget’, Coventry’s big sale during last summer’s market. Well, his 18 goals in all competitions show that he is trying.
