In turn, Unicef calls on the G7 countries – Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Great Britain and the United States, as well as the European Union – to urgently donate their surplus supplies. Together, the group of countries could donate about 153 million doses, according to Unicef, while fulfilling their commitment to vaccinate their populations.
