Thibaut Courtois win the title Yachine Trophy 2022. He became the best goalkeeper by beating Alisson Becker and Ederson Moraes.
Yachine Trophy 2022 title announced at the awards Ballon d’Or 2022 at the Theater du Chatelet, Paris, Tuesday (10/18/2022) early morning WIB. As is well known, Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has been named the winner of the Ballon d’Or.
While Benzema won the main prize, his teammate Courtois won the title of best goalkeeper. Yachine Trophy started France Football, organizer of the Golden Ball, from 2019 to appreciate goalkeepers.

The name Yachine Trophy itself is taken from the name of the legendary Soviet goalkeeper Lev Yashin. Courtois was the best for 2022 by beating Alisson (Liverpool) and Ederson (Manchester City).
Courtois was instrumental in Real Madrid’s success last year. The Blancos have won both La Liga and the Champions League, keeping 22 clean sheets in 52 appearances in all competitions.

Followed by Alisson and Gianluigi Donnarumma, winners of the Yachine Trophy in the two previous editions. In 2020 this award was canceled due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
