Born in Dijon on July 28, 1921, Simon Parent lived in Beaume, Château-Chinon (Nièvre), Château-sur-Seine, Béziers and Courthézon, before returning to a retirement home. His wife, Paulette, whom he met at a ball, and from whom he has been a widower since 2009, will give him five children, two girls and three boys.
