Court rejects mother’s bail in Kadakkavur poxo case

Thiruvananthapuram: The court rejected the bail plea of the mother in the Kadakkavur poxo case. The Poxo court in Thiruvananthapuram rejected the bail application. It became clear that the mother was arrested by the police after receiving the report of the Child Welfare Committee. Police have released the first counseling report stating that the child stands firm in his complaint.

The woman had approached the court on Friday seeking bail in the Poxo case. The court rejected the bail application on the ground that the confession given before the magistrate was still pending. Meanwhile, a team led by Southern Region IG Harshita Attaluri has launched an investigation into the case. IG Atting instructed the DySP to deliver the files containing the child’s confession and medical examination results. Police are also investigating allegations that the mother was arrested for taking money from the child’s father.

Meanwhile, as the allegations against the police grew stronger, the police released the child’s first counseling report. The counseling report repeats that the child has been abused by his mother since the age of ten. Police say the report from the agency responsible for filing the case under the Pox Act is sufficient. The police said that there was nothing wrong with adding the name of the chairperson of the child welfare committee in place of the informants.

However, during the counseling session, the child did not look him in the eye and did not speak. But there is no report that the torture complaint is true or that a case can be filed.
