StarDance is a feast for the eyes not only with impressive dance, but also with the charming dance costumes and evening gowns of presenter Tereza Kostková. Her court designer is mainly Tatiana Kovaříková, who is also the author of the dresses of all the contestants in the 10th and 11th series. She has now been replaced by costume designer Roman Šolc, but despite this, the presenter continues to bring out the gowns from the TATIANA workshop with nobility and joy. “I’ve been designing large evening dresses for Terezka since 2014, and it’s always about mutual harmony. She is a woman who suits formal dresses incredibly, and who enriches them even more with her never-missing smile. With Mark Eben, they are the classy host duo of StarDance for me,” the designer praised herself last year.

Flattering cuts underlining elegance
For the first evening of the brand new line, Tereza Kostková from her workshop wore a long evening dress with a corset bodice in glittering relief, with sophisticated pleating and a tie on the side, thanks to which optically a very decent peplum silhouette was created. The presenter regularly wears sensually revealing cleavage in a subtle manner that respects the wearer. Corset cut stood out in one of the unforgettable dresses shining far and wide. It’s a fuchsia off-the-shoulder gown with an opulent bow that she wore to the live broadcast of round eight of season eleven two years ago. They also stood out with their slightly wrinkled texture, which Tereza Kostková likes. “I like the crumpled ones the most,” she told the news portal iDNES.cz years ago.
She presented a similar texture in the sixth round of the same series. It stood out against the royal blue background. The gown was dominated not only by a dreamy, visually impressive color worthy of a royal court, but also by an asymmetrical cut on one shoulder. And precisely playful asymmetry with a certain amount of drama is another frequent cut that accompanies Tereza on the dance floor.
Can’t forget about breathtaking asymmetric gown with a dazzling golden shine, which she brought out in the tenth row of 2019. She complemented the sequined dress with a golden headband and a combed bun to the side, which supported the styling of the goddess.
A seventeen-year transformation
The halter cut centered high at the neck or the tight curve-hugging dress with a deeper neckline and thin straps are no exception among the silhouettes. She brought out a bolder model in the first row 17 years ago, when a lush cleavage revealed her pregnancy. The first series of the competition was characterized not only by slightly bolder models complemented by jewelry in the form of chokers (necklaces typical of the first decade of the new millennium), but also by hair styling with dominant bangs.
