Court clarifies: Corona convalescents in NRW retain status for six months – news

With the court decision, those who have recovered in North Rhine-Westphalia are on an equal footing with those who have been vaccinated twice. You can then, for example, go to a restaurant with another test or do sports in the gym – without being vaccinated.

Error in the Corona Protection Ordinance for NRW

The reason for this is likely to be a legal error in the NRW Corona Protection Ordinance: It refers to a regulation by the federal government – albeit an old one in which the recovered status existed for six months.

With corona rules, which the federal government issues itself, those who have recovered only keep their status for three months. This applies to public transport, for example. The Robert Koch Institute surprisingly announced this reduction to three months in mid-January.
