Death
We learned of the death of Jean-Pierre Pena, at the age of 69. Coming from a very well-known Coursannaise family, Jean-Pierre was very esteemed in our city, especially with all his “Class” but also very many “young people” who have now become older, because he had spent all his youth in town. An excellent pastry chef, he had opened a business not far from Coursan and had returned to live in his village for his retirement a few years ago. His funeral will take place in the church of Coursan on Monday September 6 at 10 a.m. We offer our sincere condolences to his wife, his family and to all those affected by this loss. We also learn of the death of Aimé Zoméno, at the age of 92, whose funeral will take place on Saturday September 4 at 9:30 a.m. in the church of Coursan followed by his burial in the cemetery of Ille. We offer our sincere condolences to all his family and to all those affected by this loss.
Blood donation
A blood drive is organized by the EFS and the local association on Monday 6 and Tuesday 7 September from 3 to 7 p.m. at the multipurpose room on the Route des Plages.
