In Melbourne, Australia, there were major disruptions at two metro stations last week. The two stops were evacuated late Thursday evening after several platforms were damaged by floodwaters.
Surveillance footage now shows who is most likely responsible: a couple who were clumsy during a quickie in a stairwell and set off the sprinkler system. They are also wanted because they are said to have damaged a water pipe.
Minister takes it with him much Humor
The Transport Minister of the Australian state of Victoria, Danny Pearson, fell to the task of informing the media about these slippery circumstances. He tried in vain to provide objective information about the incident. At the latest when the reporters burst out laughing in front of the town hall in Melbourne, Pearson also fell out of character and giggled along uninhibitedly.
