“Couple Shares Their Experience with Cancer Recovery in Upcoming Docuseries”

Olcay is worried about Ruud and what the situation is doing to him mentally. “He sleeps badly,” she says. “Fortunately, Ruud is now also talking about this with a professional. Swimming training does him good, but asks a lot of him.”

And although Ruud also realizes that Olcay certainly has a point, he still finds it difficult to agree. “When you’ve looked death in the eye, something crazy happens to you. That bothers me a bit,” he says.

Ruud knows all too well that cancer can be a recurring thing. “It is, sometimes against my will, part of my life. But if you’ve been given a second chance, you shouldn’t complain and just do it.”

At the end of April, Olcay and Ruud can be seen with a six-part docuseries. In it they share, among other things, how the couple is dealing with Ruud’s recovery, but they also take viewers with them, for example, about their move. You can see a preview in the video below.

The newest Veronica Superguide is now in stores.
