According to the police, the two strangers gained access to an apartment building on Ackerstrasse around 9.30 a.m. on Monday and then forced their way into one of the apartments. A 24-year-old and a 36-year-old who were present were threatened by the men with a gun and then tied up.

The perpetrators demanded money under multiple threats of violence and finally left the house with jewelry, valuable sunglasses and a camera. The couple managed to free themselves and alert the police.

One of the robbers is about 25 to 35 years old and about 1.80 to 1.85 meters tall with a very thin build. He has dark short hair, dark eyes and wore a black cap. He was dressed in white stained construction worker clothing and Nike “Air Max” shoes and had put on a light blue mouth and nose protector.

His accomplice also wore the conspicuous white work clothes. He is about 1.80 meters tall and 35 to 40 years old, with a stocky to stout build. He has a dark brown, orange-tinged beard that was visible under a light blue surgical mask. His eye color is a lighter brown, reminiscent of amber.
