Coupe de France (4th round): C’Chartres Football (N2) and Saint-Georges-sur-Eure (R1) go by the wayside

The gloomy start to the C’Chartres Football season continues. Not really at the level where we expected in the league (N2), with only two victories in seven days, the Chartres club was taken out this Saturday from the Coupe de France. Jean-Pierre Papin’s players were surprised at home by Montlouis (N3), who won on penalties (2-2, 4-5 tab). The CCF however led twice in the score, thanks to Persico, but he could not hold his result.

Saint-Georges cracks at the end

Saint-Georges (R1) was also eliminated (0-3), but it was more expected against the leader of group A of N2, Saint-Pryvé. Faced with an opponent to whom he gave back two divisions, the FCSGE was led 1-0 for a long time, before breaking down twice at the end of the match.
